Hannah Simmons - BABE RTS

HSDC Principal

Hannah Simmons 


Hannah studied at the Royal Academy of Dance graduating with BA (Hons) Ballet Education and is a fully qualified RAD Registerd ballet teacher. Hannah is from Lincoln, she trained in various styles from a young age, between the ages of 15-18 she also attended the East Midlands Centre for Advance Training in Contemporary Dance. 


Hannah had the privilege to train with Darcey Bussell learning her DDMIX Dance Fitness program whilst living in London. She now runs regular DDMIX classes in Lincoln and hosted a huge event bringing Darcey Bussell to Lincoln to instruct alongside Hannah with 300 participants. 

Hannah has also choreographed works at the New Theatre Royal Lincoln and Lincoln Cathedral for CAODS productions of The King & I , EVITA and Staring Lincoln Theatre Companies Jekyll & Hyde.

Fern Carter

Dance Teacher

Fern attended Janet Ashton School of Dance at the age of 3-18, training in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Greek and Jazz. Throughout her training, she performed in 7 pantomimes at the Theatre Royal in Lincoln. Fern has recently completed a three year BA Hons Degree in Contemporary dance. Whilst at University, fern completed a placement which allowed her to assist and teach classes within the community and primary schools. She also continued her performing by being a dancer for University Dance Society!

Sammy Hewitt

Dance Teacher

Sammy started dancing quite late at the age of 10 but instantly fell in love with it! When starting out she began with classes in commercial, ballet and doing as many workshops as she could! Sammy then studied A-level dance which included dance styles jazz, musical theatre and contemporary. Sammy completed her degree in dance at the University of Lincoln, specialising in contemporary dance. Whilst attending the university Sammy has gained lots of teaching experience including helping at the university summer school. 
Other qualifatcions : Level 1 Fitness training.

Emily Stones

Dance Teacher

Emily is currently at University Student studying history and also a member of the Lincoln Dance Society. Within this society, She has had the honour of being apart of the competition team, a teacher and dance ambassador. Emily is also the ULDS Dance Captain for the upcoming year!
Emily has been dancing since the age of 3!! At the age of 10 she joined Joanne Haylock School of Dance where she completed multiple dance exams in tap, ballet, modern and jazz and pointe. Emily also successfully took her intermediate ballet exams at the Royal Academy of dance in London. She was also lucky enough to be apart of the competition team for JHSD and built up so many experiences through this.

Libby Fielding

Dance Teacher

Libby assisted and trained with HSDC for 2 years alongside studying Performing Arts. After successfully gaining her Performing Arts Extended Diploma Libby is continuing her training with the International Dance Teachers Association.

Abbie Evans

Guest Dance Teacher

Abbie is currently training to be a professional dancer at Addict Dance Academy. Abbie is in her third year at Addict and has performed in various shows, musicals, flashmobs and competitions. Whilst training she has had the amazing opportunity to star as an extra in ‘Five after midnights’ music video. 

Abbie has 4 years experience teaching in Primary Schools.
